On March 6th, 2025, SolarBK and Banpu NEXT, a leading Net Zero Solutions provider in Asia-Pacific, signed an agreement to establish a joint venture named Esco NEXT (Esco Next Company Limited) to continue expanding the scale of renewable energy development in Vietnam. Esco NEXT is a continuation of the successful collaboration that began in 2022 between two companies. Both companies, SolarBK and Banpu NEXT, value the achievements and mutual respect established during their strategic cooperation, especially amid the challenges that the Vietnam solar power market faced during 2022-2023 and the pressure for economic recovery following the Covid pandemic. The joint venture aims to expand the business scale and model of providing renewable energy solutions to businesses and communities. In the first phase, Esco NEXT targets to deploy at least 390 MW of rooftop solar power within the first few years.
