Certifications and Awards

SolarBK - a Vietnamese enterprise won an international prize for its solar power project in 2018. Solar Experience Space (SES) won the Outstanding Project category of The smarter E Award 2018 (annual international competition for solar power projects) in Munich, Federal Republic of Germany.

In 2013, SolarBK brand was awarded the Vietnam Gold Star Award and was honored in the top 100 Top Brands of Vietnam.

In October 2011, SolarBK brand was awarded the Vietnam Gold Star Award and was honored in the top 100 Top Brands of Vietnam.

Bach Khoa Solar Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (SolarBK) was awarded the Global Energy Globe Award 2016, the National Award for Vietnam for the project "Sea water filtration system with clean energy on Song Tu Tay Island". SolarBK was the first Vietnamese company to win the Global Energy Award twice.

In June 2012, the Global Energy Awards Council officially announced SolarBK had won the award for the project "Wind-solar hybrid energy system to supply electricity for Truong Sa island". This was the third time that a clean energy project of Vietnam had won the Global Energy Award - one of the most famous and prestigious energy awards in the world.

Nguyen Duong Tuan - CEO of SolarBK was honored as the Global Energy Ambassador - Energy Globe Ambassador 2013.

At the end of 2011, SolarBK was honored to receive the "Energy Saving" award for the water heater issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade with the product certified "Vietnam Energy Star".

Solar BK received a certificate of merit from the Vietnam High Command of Navy for its excellent performance in implementing the Truong Sa lighting and clean energy pilot project in 2009.

On October 18, 2019, IREX Energy Joint Stock Company - a member of SolarBK was certified by the Bureau of Standards of India (BIS), the National Standards Agency under the government of India, BIS certification following standard IS 14286: 2010 / IEC 61215: 2005, IS / IEC 61730-1: 2004, IS / IEC 61730-2: 2004 for solar cell products.

BIS certification is a mandatory certification by the Indian government for foreign manufacturers wishing to export to the national market. IREX set to export 40MW per year to this market. For IREX solar cell products, BIS certification is not merely a license for IREX panels to be exported and sold to the Indian market, but this is also an important next step for IREX's business opportunity in this country of 1.37 billion people. This affirms that the quality of the solar cell products produced in Vietnam has exceeded the quality standard set for other strong brands in the world.

On January 25, 2019, SolarBK was granted ISO 14001: 2015 certification by QMS (Quality Management System) on Environmental Management System for the production and trading of solar panels and solar water heaters.

The ISO 14001: 2015 standard provides a rigorous framework to ensure that businesses comply with their commitments to reducing environmental issues, including:
 

• Reducing harmful effects on the environment
• Provides evidence of continual improvement in environmental management

The application of this international standard has paved the road for IREX, as well as SolarBK, to grow strongly towards their great goals of "greening" the world, while aligning their missions with the global initiatives of spreading clean energy and protecting the environment through clean production and business activities.

On 24/11/2020, Solar Plastic 1-phase - 5kW and 3-phase - 10kW Plastic Cabinet - IREX's new BigK plastic cabinet - were certified Quatest 3 according to the test method IEC 60439 - 1: 2004. This certification once again ensures an absolute safety of the IREX switchboard in switching and low-voltage controlling process. Achieving this criterion is the best testament to SolarBK's constant innovation to meet rigorous requirements of installation, operation, and maintenance throughout the life of the system.

IEC 60439-1: 2004 applies for certifying combinations of low voltage switch and control equipment with rated voltage not exceeding 1000V A.C at frequencies not exceeding 1000Hz or 1500V D.C.

Holding domestic and foreign market share, IREX's products (including photovoltaic panels and electrical cabinets) are committed to complying with international standards of operating conditions and technical specifications, proudly affirming Vietnam on the world map of clean energy.

On May 14, 2018, SolarBK was granted ISO 9001: 2015 Certification byTUV Rheinland - a leading certification organization based in Germany - ISO 9001: 2015 on Quality Management System for the production and trading of solar panels and solar hot water systems. ISO 9001: 2015 provides the standards for building a scientific quality management system to:

• Control risks and prevent errors
• Produce and supply quality products, as well as services to satisfy customers in a consistent manner.

The qualification of this international standard has shown IREX's great goals, as well as SolarBK's to provide quality products and solutions, not only meeting domestic demand but also exceeding foreign expectaction.

On September 24, 2018, SolarBK was certified by Din Certo - a leading certification organization based in Germany - for the IREX thermal absorption sheet following Solar Keymark standard. This product is used in the solar water heater system for home and industrial use. Solar Keymark certification is an important key for SolarBK's products to widely penetrate into the European market and many countries around the world.
