PRESS RELEASE: SolarBK, Banpu NEXT, and Amata VN announce a strategic partnership to develop 227 MW of rooftop solar power across Amata Industrial Parks in Vietnam

November 3, 2025 – SolarBK, a pioneer in Vietnam’s renewable energy industry for nearly 20 years, together with Banpu NEXT, a leading provider of clean and Net Zero energy solutions in the ASEAN region, and Amata VN, one of Vietnam’s leading industrial park developers, announced a strategic partnership to develop rooftop solar systems with a total expected capacity of 227 MW at Amata City Ha Long and Amata City Long Thanh.

The collaboration is set to begin implementation in early 2026, aiming to accelerate the green transition for customers in Amata Industrial Parks while reinforcing the partners’ shared commitment to decarbonization and supporting Vietnam’s Net Zero 2050 goal.

Strategic Collaboration – A Milestone for Green Energy in Vietnam

The partnership among SolarBK, Banpu NEXT, and Amata VN marks a strategic milestone in advancing Vietnam’s green energy transition, delivering sustainable energy solutions and strengthening industrial competitiveness.

Building on the successful collaboration between Banpu NEXT and SolarBK in providing solar solutions to Vietnam’s commercial and industrial (C&I) sectors, this new initiative expands the partnership through cooperation with Amata, focusing on installations at Amata City Ha Long (686 hectares) and Amata City Long Thanh (410 hectares).

This initiative directly addresses Vietnam’s rising electricity demand and supply challenges while aligning with the national Power Development Plan VIII (PDP8) and the country’s Net Zero vision. It contributes to energy security and sustainable growth by providing on-site clean energy that enhances Amata’s competitiveness, offering integrated, cost-efficient, and sustainable infrastructure that meets the needs of global supply chains moving toward Net Zero.
